Shipping Policy

1. Within Kolkata Region

  • All orders (in stock) are dispatched within 2 days.

  • Free Standard Shipping ( 2 - 3 business days) is provided on all orders above ₹499

  • A flat rate of ₹25 is charged on orders of & below ₹499.

  • Store Pickup (2 days) is also available at no charge.

2. Rest of India

  • All orders (in stock) are dispatched within 2 days.

  • Free Standard Shipping (4 - 7 business days) is provided on all orders above ₹499

  • A flat rate of ₹50 is charged on orders of & below ₹499.

  • Express Shipping (2 - 4 business days) is available on all orders (below ₹1999) for a flat charge of ₹150.

  • Free Express shipping is available on all orders above ₹1999.

3. International Shipping

  • All orders (in stock) are dispatched within 2 days.

  • We will provide the actual shipping charges once an order is placed.

  • If you are not comfortable with the rates, we will be happy to issue a complete refund.

  • Custom charges & any other applicable local taxes to paid directly by the customer at their home country.

Return & Exchange Policy

1. Issue from our side: Means the inconvenience incurred is due to deficiency in service by the team at Avbodhan.

In this case, we Guarantee 100% Replacement or Refund (whichever customer chooses) to the customer immediately. The reasons include:

  • Damaged Product Received

  • Wrong Product Received

  • Item Missing in the Box

2. Issue from the customer's side: Means the return request is raised by the customer who has inadvertently made an erroneous order. In this case, Avbodhan will refund the amount after deducting the shipping charges of both sides i.e. Forward as well as Return (as per actual). The reasons may include:

  • The size is too small

  • The product is not as per my expectation

  • My brother didn't like it

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
 

Damages and other issues with the received order:

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Please raise the damage issue within 24 hours of delivery, after which no exchange or replacement of damaged products shall be made.

Terracotta and other Fragile Products: 

​

Unfortunately, few products cannot be taken back like terracotta items, etc. due to the high risk of damage during transit. However, if the issue is from our end, please inform us within 24 hours of receiving the item and we shall take appropriate action about the same. We will always strive to put our customers' satisfaction first.

Refunds: 

​

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and inform you whether the refund was approved or not.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and credit the refund to your account.
