  • How long does it take to process an order?
    We usually ship orders within 2 business days. Customization requests, or pre-orders would take additional time, which will be notified in advance.
  • How do you deliver the products?
    For Standard Deliveries: Depending on the nature of the order and the destination pin code serviceability, we will utilise the most optimum shipping soltution, that may include private courier companies, or India Post. Delivery time will vary from 5 to 10 days. For Express Deliveries: We will utilise the Express Air Service of Private courier companies, or the Speed Post Service of India Post, depending on the destination pin code serviceability. Delivery time will vary from 2 to 4 days.
  • Do you ship outside India?
    Yes, we will be happy to ship orders abroad. International customers can use the Paypal link to make payments. Once an order is placed, we will notify you the shipping charges (actual) within 2 business days. Once we have received an approval from your end, we will go ahead and ship your order. You are also free to cancel the order and claim a full refund, before the order is dispatched. Local customs and taxes will have to be borne directly by the customer. Usually our shipping provider will coordinate with you and get all that sorted. Do contact us for any further assistance.
  • How do I pay for an order?
    We are currently accepting the following Payment Modes: Online Payment - VISA/Mastercard/Debit/Credit Cards/UPI/EMIs/Netbanking and more. COD - Cash on Delivery Direct UPI Paypal (For international Payments only) For Customers in India: After checking out from your cart, simply choose either "RAZORPAY" or "COD" in the checkout page. Once you have read the instructions, go ahead and PLACE the order. You will receive an email thereafter with the order confirmation. Please note, once an order is prepared for dispatch, the payment method cannot be changed, as our shipping manifest is prepared accordingly.   • Do you have online payment getaways, where I can pay using my VISA/Mastercard debit & credit cards?
    Yes we do! Simply make your payment using the 'RAZORPAY' option, that will be available in the checkout page. All popular payment options such as VISA/Mastercard/Debit/Credit Cards, Wallets/EMIs/Netbanking, etc., are available through a secured SSL link. Do contact us for any further assistance.
  • How do I pay using Direct UPI?

  • What if there's an error while making a payment through UPI?
    Worry not :) Most payment errors are rectified automatically by your payment portal within a few minutes, or a few hours. We will simply hold your order, till the payment finally comes through. Incase you wish, we'll be happy to convert your order into COD and ship your items, to expedite dispatch. Please be rest assured, any excess payment received, if any, will be promptly refunded.   • How can I make a payment from outside India?
    For our international customers, we have integrated Paypal into our website, which will make your checkout process very smooth and efficient. Alternatively, in case you do not wish to pay via Paypal, do let us know and we will email you alternate payment options,
  • Are all your products eco-friendly?
    Yes! We exclusively sell only eco friendly and plastic-free products in our website.
  • Where do you source your products from?
    We source almost all our products exclusively from local artisans, across India. Primarily from the villages of West Bengal. Do follow us on our social media handles (@avbodhan) to know more. Few of our items, such as the Bamboo Toothbrushes, are made in Indian factories, with no imported materials.
  • Are the artisans compensated well?
    Yes! As a principal, we do not bargain with any of our rural based artisans, as our main goal is to improve their livelihood. We manage this by cutting out the middle man, and sourcing from them, directly, thereby ensuring they receive fair compensation.
  • Do you offer customisations, or gift wrapping?
    Absolutely. We are happy to accept customisation requests from you, and will try our best to accommodate them as far as possible. Some of our listings, such as the Terracotta Greeting Cards, have a customisation field already present in the product page, where you can leave the instructions directly. Gift wrapping is available on all our products, at no extra cost. Do not forget to leave detailed instructions while placing your order.
